Okay, I ran this app called namebench and added the DNS servers the app told me would speed up my internet. i couldnt view any secure webpages, so i deleted the DNS servers. now that they are deleted, i still cant view secure webpages.


The attachment is an example of what i keep getting. i have tried using firefox and still get the same message.

Im using Mountain Lion D3 bulid 12a193i

Anyone know what the problem is?

Go to network preferences and set the DNS servers to something like 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222 for openDNS. They are proven to be some of the best.

Flush DNS cache. I don't know how to do it in ML, but I think there's a high chance you will solve the problem by destroying the old cache.
