I haven't tried it under Yosemite yet, but if it's like Mavericks (which I'm sure it will be) it won't work if your syncing your bookmarks across multiple devices. You will find they keep reverting to their prior sort state. You have to disable iCloud bookmark sharing on everything else first and wait until it propogates.

No, buy I have been using BookMacster on Yosemite and it works fine. No conflict with iCloud sync either.

So you mean that I can use BookMaster keeping the iCloud sync on and with no issues?

Make sure you try the demo version first, because this App is not free and their own website admits the syncing problem I described above can occur.

I just installed it. It sorted all my bookmarks just fine. It does revert back to unsorted, unfortunately.

Make sure you are saving and exporting the changes. As I recall the setup of this was not really clear.

It seems I spoke too soon last night. When I open Safarisort, it ask me immediately, if I want to sort all alphabetically or start with folders first. The preferences pane is grayed out. Once you pick one of two options at the start and it completes the task, the program opens up to the safarisort page and then the program closes when the website tab is closed.

Will the bookmarks alphabetically sorted by SafariSort propagate among all iOS devices or do they revert to the initial status?

I can't test whether the bookmarks will propagate, as I cannot access the preferences part of safarisort, amongst other parts of the program. I have installed the program 3 times with the same results. It appears, that it doesn't work properly in Yosemite.

You could try it yourself.
