any brands out there that are reliable and safe to use? weary of random brands that could cause more damage than good.

also is thunderbolt 4 overkill for charging only? not connecting to external display or doing any data transfer

I just use what comes with electronics I have. I currently using anker, ravpower, Nintendo switch charger, and of course 3 MacBook Pro usb-c cables charger, and iPad Pro and iPad mini usb-c chargers, and a dell work laptop charger that I plug usb-c products into. I have usb-c everywhere in the house
