Safe to activate trimforce on a PNY SSD in Macbook Pro 2012?

Yes... I would turn on TRIM. I don't have any experience with that particular drive, but it uses a Phison controller that is pretty common in drives by PNY, Kingston, Corsair, and others, so you should be fine.
