Alright, so i recently installed an ssd to run my os along with applications and everything else is on my hdd which is in my optibay.

I followed a guide online which seemed to work well and had my carbon copy clone everything but my home directory to my new ssd and everything looks and is working fine. Downloads, documents, pics and videos are all going to my hdd like they should.

Im not tight for space on my hdd but was just wondering if i needed to keep my application folder on the drive? Along with the other folders on it. Not sure what is being used from that drive besides my preferences and stuff I think since I changed where my mac locates those filed following the guide.

thanks!

If you are really worried I would but normally I would just delete them.
Also as a tip, always keep TimeMachine backups up-to-date.
