Safe to synch to iTunes?

I recently JB'd my iPhone 4S. It's my first time ever jailbreaking.


Question. Is it safe to synch with itunes? (Early 2011 13'' MBP) Will it mess up any back ups I have, or anything in general?

For now it is safe. Right up until around March 7th, when we anticipate 5.1 to drop.

Just don't ever update. When a new iOS is released it will pop up with something. Just click the one that says something like "Don't Download and Don't Bug Me About it Anymore"

Ahh my bad. When I think itunes now, I automatically think update. My phone and ipad autosync, so I never give it a thought.
