Dust

Another issue of using your laptop on a bed or fabric is that the fans suck up the bits of loose thread and you now have a dust issue. Well, the new MBP is easy to take apart, and all you have to do is take a can of compressed air and a Q-Tip (R) and wipe out the fans. If you feel more comfortable with the computer, (like me) then take out the fans themselves and lubricate them with graphite powder, as well as cleaning out the dust underneath the keyboard and the motherboard. Trust me, it was not hard, but very annoying to see that all of that crude got into the computer after 2 months of use... Oh well. By the way, any warranty concerns are not valid, as the warranty covers taking off the back cover for minor maintenance and cleaning, but stop if you see a sticker or piece of plastic that says something like 'DO NOT REMOVE' or any type of warning sign. :D
