Hi there,

I've been having major issues with freezing/crashing since updating to Sierra, each time needing to restore the OS. I *think* the problem lies with preference conflicts in my personal area, so I've created a fresh User area following a fresh OS install and at present, running nothing but Safari, all is well.

Assuming all stays well, I will need to shift over various files, including my Photos library. Also, I notice there's still a separate iPhotos library there too, so I'll want to bring both over to the new User area. The most intuitive thing to do might be to drag both libraries to a Shared folder, and then into my new area. Would this work though? I'm thinking about permissions issues etc. Is there a better way to safely move these libraries between areas?
Thanks for your help!

That will work just fine and will not cause any permissions issues.
