I am looking at the jaw dropping teasers for the upcoming YouTube series Saga of Balam. It is entirely CGI, and computer aided video in a style that reminds me of Halo, and Warhammer. I wonder what sort of equipment is used to render this. The image of the Egyptian Pharaoh Ra sitting at the controls of his starship caused my jaw it put a hole in the floor. And Mayan warriors piloting hi-tech fighters 😄 I am not a gamer but do enjoy watching the cinematic versions of Halo, and Warhammer, The Saga of Balam takes all of this to the next level. I would love to think that there was a Apple computer somewhere rending some of this. The bottom line is something I have seen coming for years. If you can produce something like this outside of the Hollywood mafia, than Hollywood is doomed.
