Salmon dot in corner of screen

Anyone else seeing this salmon coloured dot in the right hand corner of the screen, under macOS Monterey? It stays there as you three finger swipe between screens too.

I believe that is the microphone active indicator. Lights up when an app is using the mic.

Yes it was. There was an error with Siri and it kept the microphone dot on all the time. Solution was to use Siri again and it went away when Siri had finished. Seems strange as Siri always has access to the microphone so not sure why the dot comes on at all.
