i have come across a perfectly good PowerBook G4 screen (that was attached to a fried computer) i am wondering if there is any way to covert it into an extra monitor for my Mac Pro. i really have no idea where to start and it may be far beyond my expertise but i was really wondering if anyone had done anything like this and if so i would love some advice.

thanks
Fitz

It is. You would have to fabricate a bezel, a power supply, and a bridge board to convert DVI signals to LCD control signals. Some people have done it, but it takes skill and the right, non-common parts. It isn't worth it.
