I am having some trouble with my Apple TV. I have set up a SMB mount on my Apple TV, using NitoTV. The mount works well enough, and most of my movies play just fine. That's the problem. Some of my movies do not want to play over the samba share. I think this is more of a problem with the samba share than with the ATV, as I can log into the share with my macbook pro and neither Quicktime nor VLC will not open the file. I know the movie files in question are just fine. I cannot determine a pattern to the files that don't play, other than the fact that the problem movies are typically mp4 files. Has anybody else experienced this? If so, how did you fix it? Thanks for any help!
