So, I've got my Mac Pro at work bound to our windows 2003 AD domain. Everything works fine but I have a few problems that I havent been able to solve.
1) Samba keeps trying to make my Mac the domain master browser. I did some research and change some parameters in the smb.conf and it worked, for a little. Just recently reverted back.
2) Winbindd has two processes running, totaling about 140% CPU usage
3) syslogd is running at about 75% cpu usage
4) finally mDNSresponder is running at around 60% cpu.

These processes are starting to slow my computer down and I don't know if I should just kill them or if something is going wrong. Any insight would be appreciated
