Check out the Metronome and SeismicXML sample apps.

In the future, I recommend that you take advantage of the Developer Documentation for the iPhone OS Library. Search for a keyword, pick a class you think seems most related, and then at the Related Sample Code section at the top of the class reference.

ya,I refered,But i cannot see any sample for thread.thats y i asked

Open either of those projects and then search the project for NSThread. That should get you started.
