anybody have the samsung 2233sw? if so, is it any good? im doing a little phot work so i need at least a decent monitor (but im also strapped for cash)

im trying to get a large external monitor to use on my desk with external speakers, and a wireless keyboard and mouse while i stow my MBP in my desk. is this possible, like is there a program that allows me to keep the MBP running even though it is closed?
