Hi,
I have a 15" UMBP and a Samsung 2253BW display. Side-by-side I noticed that the Samsung has a bit of a yellow tint in comparison to the UMBP's display.

I tried using the calibrator in Display settings, and using the buttons on the display to fix it, but the Samsung still comes out yellowy.

Is the Samsung crap or is the UMBP's display just superior in comparison?

Thanks

Depends on the backlight being used. If the CCFL is more yellow on the samsung, there isn't really much you can do even with calibration.
