Hello, I am going to upgrade my mbp 2011 15" i7 using the samsung 470 ssd, I'm mainly using this ssd due to the reliability reviews on this forum
Do I need to be concerned about activating TRIM ? I intend to keep this mbp for 3 years & do not want to see a slow down in performance
Thanks

If the samsung ssd has built in GC, does that mean I don't really need to enable trim?

Does the GC do the same job as trim?

Thanks for taking the time to help me
