Hello
Anybody succeeded at this? Just bought the Club 3d 1170 Mini display Active to HDMI adapter. It was working in 4k res but in 24 hz. In fact the best size for me would be 2K resolution (I do DAW music Work). The Club 3D allows me 25xx X 16xx resolution but only @24 hz and seemed buggy. I've read good reports about the Kanex KIADAPT4KW adapter which I might try. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ok... to make things simple... How can I do 2560 X 1600 @ 60hz on my 4k Samsung MU6300 TV (HDMI 2.0) and my 2010 (12 x3.46) 5,1 MacPro with ATI Radeon 5770?
Thanks :)

Not 100% sure if you can really do that. However, you card has no HDMI 2.0. Therefore, you should need a DP -> HDMI 2.0 “ACTIVE” convertor to achieve that. And I assume your card is the Apple card, that means you may need a Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable (or adaptor) to connect that adaptor as well.

Apart from these hardwares. Most likely you still need SwitchResX (software) to activate that resolution properly.

This. Might just do the trick.

I'm running a similar 40" 4k TV at 60Hz full 4k resolution using an RX460 GPU, "The Club" active DV>HDMI adaptor, and SwitchResX. Although some screen elements are a tad small, I really like the gigantic palette 40" of 4k pixels provides in my recording studio.

Make sure you put the display in "Gaming" Mode to minimize lag.

Thanks for your response.
@ DPUser, what exactly do you mean by Thins at the beginning of your post? :) Are you talking about your configuration?
@h9826790 , do you have links to these adapters?

Thanks so much.
