Samsung 830 + Corsair Memory

I read in a previous thread that these two are not compatible? I upgraded my early 2011 17" MBP to 8 GB Corsair memory when I first got it. I recently purchased a 256GB Samsung 830 SSD. Will I have issues? Anyone else running this set up? Thanks.

Bump. There's got to be someone running or has had this set up at one point.

I doubt the two are not compatible. The problem is probably w/ the Corsair RAM. Macs are known to be way more particular about RAM than PCs. Try Crucial. It's bullet proof. Newegg usually has decent prices. Barring that stick with RAM specifically for Macs. If you get generic RAM it's luck of the draw.

I was referring to this thread. Didn't know if OP just had bad ram or the two are not compatible. I guess I'll find out tonight since my drive came in today.

This combo works flawlessly. I have trim enabled.
