Just bought this 840EVO don't know how to migrate my system to it. The software come with the drive seem to be easy to use,all I have to do is put the disk into the cd drive then plug in the SSD and DATA Migration will do the rest and then swap the hard drive and it's done. Well,thing is I can't even get it started. When I put the disk into the cd rom the pop up message says "This is a program for Windows ....". So did I just bought a SSD for Windows not for Mac?
I went to Samsung website and realized that all downloads including firmware update are all for Windows. Nothing for Mac. Great.So how did you guys update your firmware? Please help.
