This was an opportunity for Apple to shine. To possibly convert a customer. (they just had a negative experience with a new Samsung phone)
Ha ha. Nope.
Four failed attempts, AppleTV app fails to accept the verification code Apple is sending them.
Aggravated, frustrated, they gave up.
All Apple had to do was not make this an unpleasant experience, make it "automagic", and the next time the client was shopping for a phone they probably would have at least considered an iPhone.
Oh well.
Sigh.
