I think everyone needs to face reality, Samsung copies Apple in some portions and Apple copies Samsung in others and both companies copy stuff from other companies and those companies copy stuff as well. The reality is, there haven't been that many original ideas since the first smartphone (which was not the iPhone), just incremental improvements, some more major than others, but they still come down to this:

It's a phone
You can install apps
It has basic functions like email, calendar, clock
You can take photos

All of these functions have been in smartphones since before the iPhone, so really nothing exciting and innovative.

Tangent: I don't get why you say "it's a phone". Why not:

It's a calendar.

At the moment the facts are this:
Apple need enough of a court win to prevent samsung from doing it's immoral practices, but not too much of a win so Samsung stop supplying Apple with parts for their products. It is a weird relationship where each side is suing each other on one hand and need each other on the other hand to survive (ie samsung making parts for Apple products).

LAWYERS are the only winners, and the longer Samsung draws this out, the more it will cost them.
It's already 1/2 the original penalty, it is stupid to try and hide something (copying) everyone already knows!

You mean couldn't care less. Could care less means they do care.

I see you're from the UK. Surely you must be used to people online thinking some UK-isms are odd, right? The same applies here.

You see, in the US, "I could care less" is a common colloquialism. It's in the same sarcastic mode of replying with the opposite meaning, as wry comments like "Yeah, right", "Oh sure, I believe THAT", etc. It dates back about a century.

I know it's common, but are you sure it's meant sarcastically? I've heard people say it on TV and they don't use sarcastic inflections. I've also heard/read debates where people who say it try (and fail) to justify it logically, meaning they weren't using it sarcastically. I've also heard plenty American's complain light-heartedly about it too, so I don't think it's a completely accepted thing throughout America.

I've seen Americans correct Americans to "I couldn't care less".

It's not a UK-ism, 'I could care less' is simply incorrect.

I know I am bumping this thread, but this is so true. I hate when my fellow Americans say I could care less. Shows stupidity in my opinion.
