If that is true and not another pLoy to sell news and get us to jump quickly on the preorder bandwagon without thinking or enjoying the 14 Pro line many of us are using now. If true then it will be hard. I am not getting a 15 though like my 14 ProMax and more interested in the current major camera telephoto features rumored (so far only) for the 16 Pro line
I understand I have done that a lot. Although for me in central Illinois (had every phone from the 3 line on) I found it was hard around half the time to get in fast enough to make opening day. The next month is busy month and was hard to plan to be home to receive. Fortunately this year I am going to experiment with 2 year cycle and perhaps with rumored 16 ProMax major telephoto features get one of those but order through local Best Buy store and pick up from them when they it and I can work around that easily and safely.
Yep I loved the tension and excitement but am so tired of this am finding my 14 ProMax is amazing and tired to being told at this time it is MEH and I have to have next. Smart phones are plateauing in features a lot and we can enjoy what we have right now. Gonna wait til the 16 Pro if the rumored major telephoto features are there and get at local Best Buy store when they can get me one I can just pick up. So what if it takes a month or two I do not have to block out a part of a week to wait for a preorder that did not make opening day LOL
That works if you are near an Apple Store. I am 2-3 hours away and thats not convenient. I have looked to see if they have short stocked iphones and they often do not. (Never tried to order that way but make a little over half of opening day. My local area in central Illinois seems to have server variations that make it hard to get in even if I have my phone, ipad and mac all going to see where I can get in. It has been fun but going to a 2 year cycle and enjoy the very plateaued but awesome iPhone tech I now own for a bit longer rather than never being satisfied in the consume, consume, buy buy culture we all live and breathe in LOL
And that precisely is my experience in central Illinois (mine are delivered no nearby Apple Store) the whole smartphone line is reaching a peak of what they can deliver, more of the features seem just bling and glitch to me. The key features a nice pocket internet device (yeah phone if I need I am not a big phone talker LOL), texting device, and awesome point and click camera are peaking more and more. Now maybe the rumored (only so far) iphone 16 ProMax major telephoto features (lot more than the 15 ProMax MEH) I will buy. And locally server connections score a first day model about little over half the time so my plan is just to order through the actual local store I have (Best Buy) and pick up when they can get one for me. I will miss this excitement a bit but can watch all you be excited LOL. I am planning on focusing on my 14 ProMax for another full year and quit over fantasizing of what I do not have that Apple wants me to do. Learn to enjoy and appreciate what I have now
As a previous post pointed out, the SIM card tool was indeed the only product to see the light of day. It doesn’t seem to be the case today.

Of course I know that, but I have one more year of security updates for iOS 16 and then I will upgrade to the iPhone 16 Pro Max. I’m squeezing every penny out of it. Besides, it’s doing everything I need right now.
For me (until the 15 Pro rumors) the phone upgrades and the ability to go to 1 TB storage drew me away from the X. But I agree my 14 ProMax is now pretty much at a plateau until and if they do the major telephoto rumored upgrade on the 16 Pro Max and then they may get me again,
i honestly don't see any noticeable difference between 60Hz and 120Hz, i don't play games on my phone.
