I'm thinking of buying this with my new rMB, does anyone have any experience with it?

Seems like a waste to buy a Retina Macbook then hook it to a non-retina screen. For $200 more you can get screen that is actually 4k (retina)

I was under the impression that the rMB can't drive a 4K display?

So just casual web browsing and word and such I'll be fine on the 4K? Maybe some video watching as well

I agree with not getting a 1080p display if you have a rMB. For browsing the web, watching some videos, things like that it'll be fine. It's not like you're gaming on it.

Agree with the others. That monitor has a horrendously low resolution.
If it's in your budget, get at least a 3440x1440 (LG has some nice offerings there).

That's an insane amount of money to pay for something that is only 1080p.

- Yeah, espcially considering the fantastic 2560x1440 UltraSharp U2515H is all of £1 more expensive directly from Amazon (and actually cheaper in the Marketplace).

You'd have to be mental to buy that Samsung.
