I'm thinking of buying this with my new rMB, does anyone have any experience with it?

I was under the impression that the rMB can't drive a 4K display?

    It can indeed. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202856

And I was looking at the same monitor earlier myself. Found some reviews which were less than flattering.

Only at 30 hertz and you won't like the experience.

At 30hz doing what most people do on the rMB they won't notice. Nobody's gaming on it.

So just casual web browsing and word and such I'll be fine on the 4K? Maybe some video watching as well

I agree with not getting a 1080p display if you have a rMB. For browsing the web, watching some videos, things like that it'll be fine. It's not like you're gaming on it.

Agree with the others. That monitor has a horrendously low resolution.
If it's in your budget, get at least a 3440x1440 (LG has some nice offerings there).

    - Yeah, espcially considering the fantastic 2560x1440 UltraSharp U2515H is all of £1 more expensive directly from Amazon (and actually cheaper in the Marketplace).

You'd have to be mental to buy that Samsung.
