That's great, where?

Also, my statement was about the wild claims of a Black Friday price, not a special discount for some shoppers only.
samsung.com. They offer discounts for other groups i.e. students, EPP groups in addition to veterans/military that lowers the price beyond the sale price.

I played around with the Tab S9 Ultra at Best Buy today and was quite impressed with the display and S-Pen. Feels very natural writing and drawing, and it feels much more of a hybrid than the iPad. I also really liked the landscape dual front camera layout. I’d love an even larger iPad Pro.

No thanks, the only Samsung devices I want are part of Apple devices! 😉

Who in here are thinking of buying Samsung phones??

Well, why not? I don't want to argue btw, just curious. Last year I bought my wife an Ipad for her birthday, this year she got a Galaxy S22; while I agree Iphone 14&15 are better phones in many (not all) ways, they are also way more expensive. And her old Galaxy S7 has served her well.
We've been using mostly Samsung Phones in the last 10 years but have family members with Iphones as well, my wife have been using Apple computers for 30 years, I've run OSX as primary OS for about 15 years.

Apple things we have: 3 Macbook Pros, 1 Ipad, I even fire up a PPC Macbook sometimes, and I run MacOS on my PC and prefer it over Windows.
Samsung things we have: 2 phones, 1 older tablet for the kids, 1 TV, 4K computer display, numerous SSDs and Micro SD cards, various stuff.

I can't see us buying Iphones in the near future, too expensive for our needs.

Is that the new fridge version with the 32 inch screen? That fridge should come with more advance chips since the older family hubs are at least two years old.

Wish there OLED tvs would finally support Dolby Vision.
They are way under powered. They shouldn’t include a web browser if it can’t browse the web. It’s a gimmick

they make great TVs, and I am very happy with my Samsung 4k monitor for many years now. So, I don't believe your comment is valuable here.
Unfortunately they do not make great appliances though. Myself and several family members as well as friends have all had major issues with the fridges and other appliances. With there abysmal customer service it's enough to not want to buy from them again.

Thanks for that. Maybe Samsung employees themselves don't know that - I just went to samsung.com and chatted with a sales associate and asked about a veterans' discount for that monitor. After checking, he said there are no further discounts beyond the sale price, but they could offer price protection that would provide a price match if the price went down over the next 15 days. Hardly the same.

So if there is a veterans' discount on the monitor, maybe I would have gotten a different answer if I had demanded to speak to someone else. Maybe not. All I know is that I asked about the discount and I was told on samsung.com that it did not apply, and they tried to move me on to purchasing at the $1299 price today. If you can see it actually available for $899 as you said, please let us know with a link or screenshot. I have a feeling there are people here who would like to know that.

Do you even look for my posts on these threads brah.

I've seen some of them, was just having some fun inspired by your name. Your first post, about the lack of $999 deals on Black Friday, came across a bit "snarky" so when the deals materialized I posted them here just to join in the snark.

Glad you enjoy the snark.

BTW I was right. These deals weren't around on Black Friday. ;)
