The Note8 will definitely come down in price. Depending on how bad you need a new phone you could wait until closer to Black Friday and there will probably be some really good deals several hundred dollars off.

'Fast' and 'wireless charger' do not go together. They charge the battery slower than a wired connection and heat your battery & phone up mercilessly, thus shortening the life. Why bother??

Yes it will drop like a rock. All Samsungs have dropped dramatically after the next model comes out.
