I've had three 750 gb's running for five months now. Two of them in raid-0 for video-editing. I didn't have any problems, althought the 'normal' drive is slowing down a little bit in the acces-time...
I have the original hd i got with my macpro hooked up to an external firewire 800 enclosure, partitioned 150 GB for my boot drive, i don't keep my footage backed up at the moment just the projets but have the original tapes (hdv), I don't think i've got all my samples backed up (which is something i may live to regret, here's hoping not)
I'd like one of those drobos but they're really expensive, i'll probably buy another enclosure soonish and back everything up
