I'd like to use the UHD TV Samsung F9000 as a monitor in my photo/video studio with the a new Mac Pro. What are the downsides/difficulties to this and why am I not seeing this in other studios?

I have a F9000 55" at home and have ordered a nMP, and I will be happy to test it and see how it looks when I get my nMP. Apple quoted me a shipping date of February, but as soon as I get it I'll hook it up to my F9000 and let you know how it works and looks.

LED TVs can have color accuracy and black level problems. At sizes that big, they're a little unwieldy to work with too (I'm talking from experience on that one.)

LED monitors have have the same issues, but usually manufacturer tolerance on problems with pro level monitors is less.
