Thank you for pointing out that my iPhone 5 lacked such basic features the modern consumer like me requires like a light that tells me to look at my phone. I will be sure to return it at once so I can get with the times.

a phone is a phone, a tablet is a tablet. Its clear that some people want these huge devices to carry around, I myself do not, thats all.
