I'd love a note but Samsung cameras put me off, they need to do some serious work with this one because they are falling behind and if they want to match or beat Huawei they are going to have to do a lot of serious work not just on night shots but on processing, zoom and they need larger sensors and maybe possibly more megapixeks too.

The Note 6 was the perfect size IMO. Big but still perfectly useable as a phone for one handed typing etc. I just want the fastest processor, 10GB of RAM, a great camera, huge battery and fantastic identical stereo speakers....

I clearly remember the original Galaxy S had at least six unlocked international variants globally, seven in Asia and around thirteen in the US?!

That is at least twenty six Galaxy S variants that I can recall!

This is nothing new my friend..

Wow, this guy's been accurate with all things Samsung. This puts a smile on my face.

If the S10 5G has a 4500mah battery and 25w charging, stands to reason the Note 10 will have the same at least.

Going by recent history, it seems the only way the Note line had the same capacity battery or larger, as the S line, is if it had a bigger display. So considering the Note Pro and S10 5G are said to have similar size displays, It would be reasonable to expect the Note line to have a few hundred less mAh. Would make sense, as they need room for the SPen. So, I'm hopting the the tweet from ice universe turns out to be accurate. It most likely is, as sammobile also put out the reason behind the tweet.

    S7 Edge: 5.5 inch screen, 3600 mAh
    Note7: 5.7 inch screen, 3500 mAh

    S8+: 6.2 inch screen, 3500 mAh
    Note8: 6.3 inch screen, 3300 mAh

    S9+: 6.2 inch screen, 3500 mAh
    Note9: 6.4 inch screen, 4000 mAh

    S10+: 6.4 inch screen, 4100 mAh
    S10 5G: 6.7 inch screen, 4500 mAh
    Note10: 6.28 inch screen, ??? mAh
Note10 Pro: 6.75 inch screen, 4500 mAh (rumored)

No matter what Samsung does, it seems to offset itself. Bigger display + bigger battery = same battery life every year since the s7e

Only 2x optical zoom again apparently on the note 10, very disappointing, I thought with what Huawei are doing that Samsung would at least compete. That's a big turn off for me because zoom and low light won't be a match for even for the P30 Pro and then the Mate 30 Pro will come out just after the Note 10 and whoop it's ass.

Yes, Samsung should be making improvements to the camera but it's not all people look for in a phone. Whooping it's ass is a bit of a childish statement.

But you know what I mean.

Samsung does great screens and sound quality is good, their cameras are their weakest point.

I don't think their cameras are their weakest point to be honest. What would make you say that? The cameras on Samsung smartphones have been right up there with the industry leader for years....

Their processing leaves a lot to be desired, plus they haven’t upgraded he sensor size for years, it’s still stuck at 1/2.55” which I think is the same size as the S7 Edge so it’s way past time for some serious camera upgrades.

Well...the people that actually review smartphone cameras for a living disagree with you...

Like with a lot of things, it's down to personal preference. I currently own a P30 Pro but overall I prefer the S10+ camera for regular pics. I don't think they're over saturated like some do. With the OS side of things, I think Samsung is now the best Android has to offer.

My opinion on dxomark is that they are paid so I don’t class them as independent and wouldn’t go by their scoring, I’m more likely to trust anandtech or other reviews.

The zoom and lowlight on the P30 pro is great, no, make that spectacular but the video isn't as good as the S10+, by a fair margin.
I'd take a compromise in the middle, video is more important to me than zoom but I'd like better zoom, and better low light performance, but I'm not prepared to sacrifice video quality and the P30 pro looks a fair bit behind in video quality.
I couldn't give a rats arse about front cameras.

The Note 10 is definitely on my watch list, as is anything else that can exceed what I'm used to now.
Maybe the mate 30/pro will bring better video.

Right, a website who's founder works for Apple. 100% trustworthy, with no conflict of interests. Lol

To be fair, Anadtech do a lot of analytical tests which no one else bothers to do.
I've found them to be very informative.
I haven't found them to be biased towards Apple any more or less since Anand went to work with Apple, I'd say he was hired on his skillset rather than sycophancy.

Everyone has their own opinion. I don't take one site as the gospel.
But feel DxO is pretty much on point as a whole.
Anandtech is pretty Apple biased to me. Their founder was even recruited by Apple and works their now.

5x or 10x optical zoom and great video quality would be awesome.

Samsung may do that soon, but won’t be until next year I don’t think.

They are supposed to have bought a company called corephotonics who specialise in zoom so I think they’ll use that soon but too late for the Note 10 I think.

    Fair play.

Well, I use TrustedReviews, Anandtech, TechRadar, I look at places like The Verge now and again and GSMArena.
