My adonit snap stylus has been delivered. So I’ll have a look at it when I get in from work. I don’t think it will compare to the a-pen though.

I haven't seen it in the US on my Verizon snapdragon model yet 🙂

My new Note 10 was delivered today. Was gonna wait for the Pixel launch but after playing with the Note a few times in carriers stores I made my mind up.
Imo, it is the perfect size phone.

OMG. same thing for me and why I sold the Note 10 (and the S10+ before that). I just really hope they up their post processing on the S11 series... get it closer to Pixel and iPhone 11 levels and I might stay on a samsung phone longer. I do really like their hardware and One UI.

Yes! In the last week that I’ve had my 11 Pro I’ve gotten some amazing shots even when the kids are moving.
I had the same issue with the S10+ camera which I why I switched to a Pixel 3a XL. I’m on the pro max now and the cameras are great but IMO no camera can touch the Pixel when it comes to capturing motion shots. They look crystal clear no matter how much my son is moving around. iPhone still does pretty well but the S10 always had blur.
i just use gcam to take pics of kids/pets. samsung's software is for sure inferior in those scenarios but it's not like there isn't an alternative.

yeah, I had gcam running on my Note 10 and it did pretty well, definitely better than the stock camera. but was still off IMO compared to my pixel 3 and now iPhone 11 pro. I hope they fix this on the S11 series. Because I'm sure I will get one 🙂
Not me. Still on dual platforms. Going strong on my Note 10+. I’m finding the camera on my 11 Pro better, though. I’m not good at technical terms but it reproduces what my eyes see better. Like colors and saturation and highlights and shadows are just much better most of the time on the 11 Pro. It’s my favorite iPhone ever. Which is why I am heartsick at what Tim Cook gave as his reasoning for pulling that app out of the HK App Store. I totally understand why he had to do it. I’m just absolutely sickened at the moral equivocating.
So it may be my last iPhone ever.
Aside from that I enjoy having a small utilitarian iPhone and a large luxurious Note 10+.
Fortunately there’s no rule saying in the future I can’t have a small utilitarian S11 or Pixel and my Note 10+.
I’m not sure I need to upgrade my Note 10 annually. The aspects of it that I find luxury are not really in need of any upgrading. Camera upgrades are best served in a smaller more pocket friendly phone.

I do not think it's inferior but more to do with general priorities on lower light levels
By far the general user wants to see the persons face and looking well in difficult lighting scenarios, this bias is a trade-off against faster moving objects and saturation etc
As you note use another app or set up your pro mode as the default are easy solutions when you have other priorities

Not really convincing anybody. More like musing on it. The things that normally would incite me to upgrade would be the camera and the display. The display on the Note 10+ is near perfection. Now if they make it flat...okay I'm upgrading. I use my 11 pro camera more because that phone is easy to fit into my pocket and almost always with me. It's also an overall better performer as a camera. So I'm not emphasizing camera upgrades so much on this phone as the push to upgrade.
My Note 10+ is a strong performer as a phone. No complaints.
Basically it's what I said, all the things I chose a Note 10+ for are already close to perfect, given how I use it. They need to make the display glass flat, I guess.
So I may not feel the need to upgrade annually. It's going to be the smaller phone I carry that could lose its job. But always it depends on the deals that come with a new release. I do tend to hesitate to keep a phone past its warranty and optimal trade in value.
Now if they introduce the new graphene batteries and those prove to be revolutionary on the S11, and they get a new kind of camera that is also revolutionary like some rumors suggest, and also put all of these into the next Note, then I will knock over old ladies and toddlers to get at that upgrade! 🤣

10% off retail (with 12 months interest free credit if you want) and free Galaxy Buds in the UK has certainly got me interested if I don't go for the Pixel.
