LOL oh I beg to differ this one seems to be doing the electric slide all over my desk haha.. I ordered a naked skin from slickwrqps... I'm going to give that one a try first and see if it helps with the grip and not away from the looks of the phone... Second choice is Amazon if that failsFold doesn't slide, just sayin

What are you using on the phone for a case? Is she rocking with it naked? I have a Slickwraps naked matte skin coming tomorrow hopefully helps with grip when not using a case ...I love the feeling in hand with no case as it's compact
I went with the matte so we shall see... I just need a little bit of grip and the glossy will be next if I don't like it lol

In fact shes a bit clumsy at times so I'm glad she likes the Samsung Silicone case, but on her spare Flip 3 she has the clear plastic case to distinguish between them
Is it just me or is the screen on the Z flip significantly better than the iPhone 13 pro Max? I was comparing my friends iPhone 13 pro Max with the Z flip 4 and the Z flip 4 looks clearer and more bright
I've not a chance to compare side by side have to find one of my friends with the latest 13 Pro I do see that Samsung gave Apple better display for the 14 series... And I'll say it again I really do love this phone and it's only day 3 but

Just switched from 13PM to Z Flip 4, and the three things I definitely like better:
1. Fingerprint reader on power
2. The clearness on calls. It's like my wife is right there. Was muffled a lot on 13PM. And she still has 13PM, so nothing changed on her end.
3. So much better with toggling 4G/5G. Always had to switch to LTE manually in work with 13PM because it would crap out on 5G in parts of the building. Same places the Z Flip 4 automatically toggles. Couldn't even find a way to manually change it. And I get UW in some places inside. Never got it inside with 13PM. Only outside sometimes
I have the Samsung silicone ring (freebie), Speck clear crystal (shows off purple), and my new favorite (cheapish, slim, protective) case - Caseology Nanopop. They're all good but Nano Pop is best - slimmest and most comfortable to handle. Bought one also for 14P I just returned and liked it for iPhone as well.
Yes, I just used mine all weekend at music festival with Maui Jim's in full sun and had no problems with screen brightness? Better than my 13P. Screen brightness on 14P I just returned was much improved over 13 P - the only thing I will really miss, Can see Flip 4 crease with sunglasses on though with polarized lens bc of screen protector, I think. But no visibility issues in full sunlight for me.🤷🏼♀️This is an issue with your sun glasses presumably as the Flip 4 has max brightness of 1200 nits
Just like the Galaxy S22 Ultra, the Z Flip4 offers this option called Extra Brightness - it increases the maximum brightness in manual mode
So this seems a personal issue and not the Flip 4 issue as specs are similar to S22/Fold 4

I just picked up my Wife's pink Flip 4 this afternoon from Samsung store and just tested it on the balcony here in sunny Malaysia , no issues
Nice pick ups ...I've stayed naked with mine ...I have the silicone strap case which I've used twice ..thinking of selling it on the cheap to anyone interested that will get better usage out of it ...love this phone naked in hand feeling ..
I don't know how I feel about this inside protector ..

I just did the update for the unlocked phone using it on Verizon I think the September update came across yesterday but I just noticed that this morning after seeing another member post on Android Central..
That's definitely more than a security update, almost 1.4GB. I wonder what features were added.

All I saw online was stability.. performance and bug fixes with security update ..
Just in case any of you haven't already tried, download any gif, and use it as your cover screen with one of the preset clocks, or create your own clock. It's a nice touch to customizing the cover screen.

I want to add an additional data point. I moved my oldest son over from Mint to Verizon and got another Z Flip 4 to play with as he is just using his unlocked SE 2022. This particular phone shows no distortion when looking through my polarized lenses. Not sure how or why, but it is perfect. Now I am torn between the cameras of the S22 Ultra or the form factor and significantly less weight of the Z Flip. I think the Flip may become my daily driver with the Ultra only making appearances when I need those cameras.
