At least the screen has a matte finish, not sure why most displays have a glossy screen.
Yep, you’ve finally hacked how time works, congrats.waiting to see how long it takes for this thing to drop in value by 50% or more.
I use two Dell U4320Q for my trading setup. Look how the girl is stretching her neck when the monitor is in portrait mode. The cockpit setup is great for live traders also.
no. 4K will always look sharp. for it to look bad, would have to sit closer than intended
Yes, I heard him say that, then later on, at 5:20 he says that there's a lack of ports on the back because Samsung uses its One-Connect Box that includes four HDMI 2.1 ports.Sorry I must've misheard Dan - did he actually say you could only have one HDMI input on screen and the other 2/3rds have to use it's built-in apps when in 'cockpit mode'?
.... My 1000 euro led tv from Samsung is still very good, even though its a dummy tv and not a smart one.
I made my decision already a few years back, until my home country will start broadcast in 4K in every tv channel there is no any point to upgrade my 1080p tv.
Yep but that’s infinitely sized, 360 degrees, etc. I don’t think a 55” curved screen is going to replace “real life” anytime soon.Real life has a "curved screen", effectively.
I just measured it at 22" from my eyes...How far away are you from the monitor? Do you have to sit back further like watching a TV? I haven't measured it but I think it's about 2-3' from my eyes to the screen with normal use.
Maybe I don’t have the full peripheral vision that some have 🤦♂️😂I just measured it at 22" from my eyes...
Yeah, owning a Mac plus a separate gaming PC would be the optimum approach for Mac users who want to play games. And if you can afford one of these, you can afford to buy both a Mac and a gaming PC.I'll tell you a secret if you don't snitch me out to Tim Cook... You can own a Mac AND a Windows PC. The PC is for gaming and the Mac for pretty much everything else.
Computers are like tools. How silly would it be if you had to decide if you wanted to own a hammer or a screwdriver. I mean I guess you could get away with pounding in screws with a hammer but not ideal 🤣
Well everyone has a budget. I'm not rich by any means so it's not like I'm saying well why doesn't everyone drive a Ferrari. Also just because someone is debating on spending $200 for an upgrade doesn't mean it's their last bit of money they're spending. I find often people who are upper middle class or rich will be a bit more thrifty when it comes to wasting money. They're not going to say "I need 16 of RAM to browse Facebook and office docs". There's exceptions to every rule but for the people I've met in the USA they don't just waste money.Yeah, owning a Mac plus a separate gaming PC would be the optimum approach for Mac users who want to play games. And if you can afford one of these, you can afford to buy both a Mac and a gaming PC.
Though it's worth noting that's often not the case--many can't afford to own both; just look at all the threads here from people trying to decide whether they should spend an extra $200 to get an Air with 16 GB RAM instead of 8 GB RAM. They might be able to buy a used PS or XBox, but not a decent gaming PC. There's a reason Apple's least expensive laptop is also its highest seller.
Likewise, if hammers and screwdrives cost over $1k each, I think you'd find a lot people didn't own both. Instead, they'd probably be buying tools that had a hammer on one end and a screwdriver on the other (a scrammer?).
