How's yours going? Mine works ok on the fit2 Initially it had trouble running the Health apps update as it took 3 tries for it to finally install and recognize it had been installed. Also why is S Health a stripped down version of the Samsung version.Just got my acceptance into the beta for my Gear S2.
Will load it up tonight when I get home.
Ok one major issue. My fit2 battery is draining like crazy. Lost 20% while sleeping for 3 hours. How's yours going? I am little suspicious on this this and will monitor it more closely today. Other hiccups like can't add Apps to the notification block List, Sync takes a lot longer time as compared to Android. So it seems like adding apps to the block list happens on the band itself when a notification from said app comes in. The sync is insanely long and seems to be a battery drain. I'm holding out hope that the bare bones S Health app is only temporary until they port the true full version over to IOS. There would be no way they'll survive on IOS if the final version has this bare bones app.(my comments only apply to the FIT2)I am little suspicious on this this and will monitor it more closely today. On the FIT2 notifications typically come in 1-2 seconds after they appear on the iPhone. What kind of lag are you seeing? They still haven't fixed the notification delays. There is still a lag between when the phone gets a notification and when it is sent to the watch.
This was an issue with the leaked beta from April, and it still seems to be the case.
Functionality is still very limited. Still not able to respond via the watch, only dismiss.
App install issues are still a problem as well. Again, this was an issue with the leaked beta and still persists in this version.
Basically if the app you're installing to your watch is over 1mb, it will fail. It will show 100%, but not actually finish on the watch.
Anything under 1mb is a 50/50 chance.
Nope nothing, they need to put out some sort of update because this one needs work.. the fitbit charge 2 is starting to look betterhave you guys received any update post 26th? I am still on the 26th Aug version.
On my S2, I'm seeing between 10-30 seconds delay. Inconsistent at the moment, so I can't pin it down to any specific app the notification is coming from.On the FIT2 notifications typically come in 1-2 seconds after they appear on the iPhone. What kind of lag are you seeing?
The app install is terrible as it seems to install but doesn't register that it actually installed. I don't think we can ever expect to be able to reply to notifications as that might be an apple restriction. Other than the Apple watch I haven't come across a non apple wearable that will allow that.
The signup site is in Korean, but it is not limited to Korean users that I can see.
I translated the signup page and didn't find any such requirements as to the testers location.
It might be in there, but I haven't found it yet.
I signed up with my Apple ID.... who knows, it might work.
If not, I'll keep using the leaked version from April.
Any links to find that leaked version? Looks like the beta sign ups aren't being accepted anymore. I got a free gear fit 2 through the Note 7 promo, but am now using an iPhone 7 plus and would love to get this working.

The beta has been updated a few times in the past month so I'm hoping that means an official release is getting close.
Not sure who's making hose decisions over at Samsung but come on.
Damn autocorrect. *those decisionshose? they ran out of those when trying to put out the Note 7 fires.... (then again, as a previous Note 7 owner, that may not be so funny?![]()
