That seems like an unfortunate name.
[doublepost=1481209201][/doublepost]I do think "matches iPhone" is a bit of an exaggeration, though. :D

Funny thing is this phone has been on the market almost 8 months and they make this color now as a clear copy from apple. Why wouldn't they just wait until the next phone to add this color. It's stupid to me. Never would apple add a color for a phone when the next phone suppose to drop in 3 months. Like why.

And I'll be dubbed a fanboy for making statements that imply Samsung's ideas are 'inspired' by Apple. Pfft. Give me a break. I will never buy a Samsung product again because I refuse to encourage a company with nothing other than copying as part of their strategy. They may be Apple's main competitor but it doesn't mean they are a worthy one.
Let’s get this right. You will never buy an openly Samsung branded product again. Apple devices are full of Samsung stuff, you know that right?

Ah, Samsung.

If only they realized that many of their ideas are better than Apple's, and they're at their best when they go their own way.

The Note 4 had it all, and with minor (cosmetic) changes would have been perfect.

Coincidence. It's just a color, it's not like they are taking a step like leaving away the headphone jack or something.

Trust me, Samsung will remove the headphone jack sooner than later, way to thick for new phones as companies want thinner ones, wired headphones will start to come in usb or lightning, this is the end for 3.5 connection.

this will probably be the best looking phone on the market. Too bad it runs touchwiz. If it doesn't scratch, using fanboy logic it is not copying just waiting till the technology matured.

Black pearl? If Samsung really wanted to be innovative they'd make it available in "chartreuse" and "tusk." "Horses Ass" would also be appropriate but I don't think that would get approval by it's marketing dept.

To boost sales. Like lots of companies would do. The Coral Blue version released mid cycle was very successful. So they a re-releasing their previous gloss black finish with a new name to boost sales to give their product a lift near the end of its life.
Quite sensible really. Just because Apple doesn't do something doesn't make it a poor idea.

I have a phone that will last me for another 3 years. Care nothing about the iPhone market.

What I need is news of an up to date Mac mini to replace replace my 2009 model.
