I have 2 17inch Samsung SyncMaster 793MB Crt... Both get brown lines running though them..which i guess is a common problem with them... They are less than a year old... What do i need to do to go about getting them repaired or replaced? I dont know if i have any papers left on them... They should still be under some warranty right? What should i do?

Hmm well they want 40 dollars to be able to send it back... (cover shipping)... I have 2...They can only do 1 at a time.. Its pointless... I spent 110 apeice after rebates.. It seems stupid to spend 40 to get them replace or repaired..

Anyone else have ideas?

That's why I hate Samsung. I can't understand forcing people to pay shipping on something that is still well within warranty. That's why my girlfriend ended up buying a 19" LCD, Samsung wanted the shipping to replace her 19" CRT. Luckily the CRT is still running so she's working with dual monitors right now.

Hitting it seems to fix it temporarily 🙂

THey still work...just the brown lines get annoying ....

O well......
