Build quality, especially camera rings and back glass are attached by glue only, screen is much easier to be scratched than before:

It has cut a lot of stuff to be more profitable:

Google the Reddit posts, camera blur , struggle lag have not been fixed at all

Honestly I want to switch to s24 plus because it is closed to 16e price over here but the quality is so bad that I really doubt what would happen if I switch.

Hey I found this for you....How to fix lag on your iPhone on IOS 18

Do you have touch issues on your iPhone?

Camera problem is mainly happening when you take photo of moving object like kid or pet. Just google Samsung shuttle lag Reddit

If the folks who own the phone that frequent this forum had the issues you speak of they would have said by now.

I think you're stirring the pot and I'm not sure why, their is no need to google anything if they don't have any problems.

Oh....since you listed the JerryRigEverything YT channel...they did one on the iPhone 16 as well.
Not very flattering.....

Samsung is only good at marketing and that is what they mainly spend money on, and including no ethics way
No. They make damn good devices as well. I have the S25U, Fold 6, Pixel 9 Pro XL, Pixel 9 Pro Fold, 16 Pro Max, and One Plus Open. The S25 Ultra in my opinion is the best, most complete device of all of them.

I looked at different languages forum for years, the shutter lag is infamous for different communities

The build quality and what they cut are well tested and reported

Samsung stock price is around half of their peak. Stock price doesn’t lie.

I don't have to Google it...I have the S25 Ultra. I don't have those issues ( i'm guessing the majority as well). I don't have overheating because i am taking a photo of a moving object.

It is proved that Samsung phone camera has shuttle lag problem. They were busy to cut so many thing from s25 series to gain profit, you think they would solve the camera problem that has been there for so many years?

I've got quite a few phones in this list as well and my favorite, BY FAR, is S25 Ultra. It's now my daily driver instead of my 16 PM for a variety of reasons but the software polish and useful AI features are the main point for me. I can't stress enough how many minor inconveniences I have with iOS that are not present in One UI. It's sad because Apple used to be the king of thoughtful touches that made their phones a delight to use. My daily time with my 15 PM or 16 PM feels like a fight to get the device to do what I want. And it feels somehow sluggish the whole time. I still haven't been able to get used to camera control it feels so half-baked in terms of accuracy.

I also have not seen any of the issues reported above and am starting to think it's a subset of phones that are affected- like any issue.

Completely different metrics. Samsung isn’t a phone company. It’s an electronics, chip manufacturing, display manufacturing, and etc. They even sell household appliances like refrigerators. So not the same thing. I have an iPhone, a Google, and a Nothing. I love the Samsung Ultra. It just is so much nicer looking than the iPhone in every way. Fake camera rings or not. Apple has plenty of fake marketing crap in their products, and you want to ignore all of that. The iPhones are the most profitable phones overall, but even then, they’re becoming less and less dependable revenue source for AAPL, as all their growth has come from services for years now. In my book, Amazon, Google and Microsoft destroy Apple in services.

Why do we have to pay for crap software to begin with? Or Apple pitching their worthless AI when it’s still not even close to ready?
I think there is a very concerning and deeply troubling trend, a pattern in which they (Apple) no longer seem capable of executing on the particular set of talents and synergies that led to their breakout comeback and subsequent success marrying hardware with software prowess that culminated in a compelling story. Lately the efforts are largely derivative (just like the late pyramid builders trying to replicate but only producing a second-rate facsimile of earlier heights of engineering from early dynastic efforts). Apple, it seems is adrift. While there is no serious market threat to them, they do face down an existential crisis that their current stable of leadership is incapable of steering around. So they could go on forever making phones, watches, Macs and M-series chips much like in previous years but they hit the zenith and will likely coast with an almost imperceptible downard lilt. They won't go out of business but the best years are in the rear view. Which is fine for their stable of products but I don't expect any compelling new features or product categories (it's all going to be derivative and incremental). What has come out is, well, a big miss (finewoven, butterfly keyboards, original self-, destructing homepods, AVP, project titan) that screams of a certain malaise.

Software issue would be solved in iOS update.
Why are you ignoring all the issue with the iPhone? Have you been to the iphone section here in MR? There are 100s of people complaining about overheating, camera issues and build quality, and touch issues in the display.

Why are you ignoring iPhone and IOS issues? Like Apple Intelligence? It doesn't work as advertised and and still hasn't rolled out in all regions months after the iphone 16 was released.

Not sure who you're trying to convince here. Plenty of happy Samsung customers in these forums here, including yours truly (though, to be fair, mine's the S23 Ultra - still awesome after two years, no plan to upgrade for at least a few more). It sounds like you just really don't want a Samsung phone though, and that's fine. You just go ahead and buy something else - you don't have to justify your choice in phone to us with a bunch of YouTube videos. I promise, we won't get offended if you choose some other brand of phone.
