Honestly these are designed. All are delayed so much as possible when there is no real competition. Why give you real fast charge when Pixel needs to use another brand phone in event or Samsung use glue for camera ring or 1/4 second delay shuttle lag? Same as why give you real Apple Intelligence now? You buy it anyway.

So what phone will you buy? Seriously. Companies aren't people and they are all greedy, money hungry entities. I'll never understand the passionate defense of Apple, or any other company for that matter.
So, what is a better option for you? I think you're not in the U.S., so you have TONS of options. Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi, all have several options from budget to high end. I've owned a few Xiaomi phones. I use a OnePlus 13 alongside my S25U. Awesome phones (Xiaomi and OP). But software is not even close to Samsung / Apple / Google. So, name a phone that doesn't have one issue or another? I'd love to know because I'll buy it instantly.

I'd say the S25 Ultra is a knockout considering how many people have come to this Alternative forum to tell us it's a bad phone.
Best Samsung phone I've had. I love the weight and the anti reflective screen. The camera is definitely faster than previous models but lag isn't completely removed. Still a good a camera. I've been planning on getting a new Fujifilm or Sony rx100 camera anyway so phone cameras won't be a priority soon for me.
I wouldn't base any smartphone buying decision on a "durability" video. These videos are a complete waste of time and money, buying a device that's already undergone testing, and destroying it for clicks. Embrace the scratches and weathering of your devices. They're tools, and deserve character.

The JerryRigEverything videos are entertaining but equally pointless. I've never had failure of any phone under normal conditions. Which for me has included devices on construction sites, the beach, skiing, every weekend on the lake in the summer which this past summer I did drop my Fold 6 in the lake in about 6 ft deep water and it did survive and still works flawlessly.

I provide that I have had every Samsung flagship since the Galaxy S3 and I have not had one instance of hardware failure. Sure some of their devices of the past have had poor software (TouchWiz sucked) and some were cheap and plasticky albeit durable and able to swap batteries easily. The S25 Ultra is every bit as quality of a build as my iPhone 16PM, Pixel 9 Pro Fold, or OnePlus 13 that I just got in today. I have hands on experience with almost every flagship in the US in the last 15+ years I don't need to base my thoughts on what some torture test which goes to a ridiculous extreme on a YouTube channel provides or an unsubstantiated assertion of planned obsolesence by Samsung which your wiki link defining planned obsolesence did not substantiate. Truth is all manufacturers do this to a degree. You conveniently forget Apple releasing software updates to purposely slow down older phones. Facts...any manufacturer that puts a shelf life on support of a phone participates in planned obsolesence and that is justifiable as the hardware reaches a point that it just doesn't perform anymore to a level required by the evolution of apps and software these devices run and the network technology implemented by carriers. But Apple purposely slowing down their phones and degrading battery life thru updates is far more egregious than anything Samsung has been accused of. I think this all leads back to being critical of glue holding on the camera rings. I couldn't care less about that.
Galaxy phones are good. iPhones are good. Both phones have issues but also many positives. We all have personal preference and make our choices accordingly. It's 2025, I can't believe we still have these conversations.
