S26 Ultra rumor roundup:

Still a 200MP main camera, but a larger 1/1.1-inch 200MP sensor made by Sony (currently 1/1.3-inch)

3X Zoom goes to 12MP (up from 10MP)
Slimmer: 7.xmm (S25 Ultra is 8.2mm)

6.86-inch panel vs. the S24 Ultra's 6.82-inch display

S-pen could be removed to add Qi2 magnets?

Faster charging speed, but still no SiC battery

One UI 8.5

S26 Edge fully replaces S26+

Even thinner Edge and maybe a SiC battery?

And it looks like the base S26 will now be called the S26 Pro.

With an Exynos for Europe?

Hopefully we don’t see the change to exynos here in uk. There have been rumours each year saying we’ll get it, but at least what I know from having last few ultras, we’ve avoided it so far.

Every year there is rumor with exynos for europe, but rycept 22 or sthing like that, ultra always get snapdragon

I see the rumours are that the S26 Ultra will be slimmer and lighter, but with the same battery size. The speculation is that to achieve this they will be dumping the S pen as they did with the Fold. Also that an upgraded Edge will be replacing the Plus model in the lineup.

No S-Pen will be disappointing but not a deal breaker.

Faster charging will be welcome. This phone already charges really fast at 45w, so if they make it even faster, then that overrides my feeling that battery is just ok. I already like the fact that on a weekend day when my phone hits 50% around 4pm, I can throw it on the charger, do a quick chore around the house and I come back to 80%+ in what seems like a few minutes.

Unless they fix their camera's then I'm out. I have two golden retrievers and the pixel 9 pro XL is miles ahead in shutter speed so pictures aren't blurry. I'm a point and shoot guy, because dogs in funny positions etc don't wait for you to manually select settings. That, and I need to stop buying tech lol.

Not discounting your personal experience, but I have 2 dogs and a newborn and I've had hardly any blur with the S25 Ultra camera. They truly fixed the shutter lag for me. The rare occasions I do have blur, I use Google Photos to Unblur it.

There is no shutter lag, samsung is just bad in processing
May just be me then... the pixel is also a lot closer to life, and better in low light. Having said that, android 16 is a bit buggy for me on the pixel so may end up back on the samsung. I need to decide and then sell.

I sometimes do wonder myself if I would enjoy a pixel even more just because I absolutely hate double apps, especially gallery. But everything else on this phone is just so damn good. Hard to give up.

Thanks. I feel like that's beyond my ability haha. The only one that really bothers me is the Photos because you can't make Google Photos your stock photo picker on apps like Facebook.

Exynos would not bother me in the slightest!
The era before we got snapdragon chip in the UK, the exynos and snapdragon models of Samsung were like to completely different phones in my experience

There's different rumours every day. I don't believe anything until they announce the S26 lineup. I wish Samsung could stop treating their compact alternative like crap and give it better cameras.

What I would love to see in the G26 Ultra....

1) bigger battery or better battery technology
2) Improvement in camera hardware...not just more zoom.
3) More smoother rounded chamfered edges.
4) Faster charging like the rumored 60W speeds.
5) a little slimmer and lighter won't hurt either :)
