I know. I mean the USB 3 port, the speed has previously been disappointing on many of the M series models.

I tried a Kingston NV2 drive in a SSK USB 3 enclosure. The read/write speeds were around 900-950 MB/s. The NV2 is not the fastest Gen 4 M2 NVME drive.

The funny thing is I got the same results when I plugged the drive into one of the front USB 3 ports on my Mac mini. I actually got slower write speeds around 700-750 when I plugged the drive onto one of the Thunderbolt 4 ports on the Mac mini, read speeds were still in the 900's.

You are going to see around 900-950 MB/s no matter what when using a USB 3 enclosure. And a Thunderbolt 4/5 enclosure won't any faster when plugged into the Neo.
