samsung tv incompatible with lion

I have a brand mew 2.3ghz macbook pro running Lion will not play with my year old 48' SAMSUNG TV. The computer sees the TV but the tv blinks on and off....wont stabalize 🙁🙁🙁 used Belkin converter and monster cable hdmi

People said the TV/converter needs to support mirroring over Thunderbolt as well. Don't quote me on that.

Looks like you'll need to buy some new hardware, whenever such thing comes out.

i use my macbook pro attaced to a 22inch LED samsung tv and it works fine
