I think Samsung makes some beautiful hardware but is, as has been pointed out many times before, handicapped for me by using Android. The trouble with competing with Apple is Apple controls the entire product from start to finish hardware and software. Nobody surprisingly has done that. And now that Apple has really made a stance on with privacy, it’s going to be even harder to leave the iOS ecosystem.

Yeah, without a good adblocker, you’ll see ads in web browsers no matter what mobile or desktop operating system you’re using.
Wonder why I use an adblocker that image was brutal. Really an ad in the middle of posts. Just show one on the top and bottom and be done with it

You know Samsung released the S5+ before Apple released their first + model in the iPhone 6?

Is there anything Samsung can do that Apple wont shamefully copy?

Did you see the note now has a pen, blatant rip off of Apple's pencil, even starts with the same first 3 letters

The presentation is .. zombie-like.. lifeless. It's like they're regurgitating a memorized script with no excitement/emotion/expression!

Like Tim, then?

I've noticed that Samsung never talks about the materials that their devices are made from, and which materials are sourced responsibility. Today, they did talk about recycling, but only at a very high level, no details.

United Nations' Global Goals sounds promising, but I can't see why it can't be an iOS app, too. Not really something that should be exclusive to Samsung.

I don't know about yall but Samsung's events are always bad. Everything is unorganized and confusing. They literally started talking about the camera in the first minutes and then that was it, they finished with the phone.

Plus, I can't count how many times they said "connected to the things we love" and other cheesy phrases...

Huh ? The Note *always* had a pen, way before the Apple pencil was ever conceived. It has been one of Note's stand out features from the S-Series.
Lmao you must be using sarcasm. The first Galaxy note released in 2011 had a pen. Apple just copied it and the first 3 letters to make the pencil.

Here's Steve launching the Apple pencil in 2007

Does anyone else feel that they are trying too hard to look innovative? They are just throwing every feature they can think of against the wall and see what sticks.

There is no purpose to the new features.

I mean, they mirror the phone display on windows and expect the crowd to go wild. The person showing off this "feature" boasts about being able to use the touch screen on the laptop - she does it once - and then goes on to use the mouse. Maybe because using a vertical touch screen is just awful?

Maybe I would even be excited if I hadn't used continuity on OS X for years.

Oh, and you will even be able to make phone calls from within windows using your samsung phone "sometime later this year" - lol.

That will be Apples Achilles heal. Who wants to handcuffed to a single point of failure. We all know Apple products aren’t what they used to be, “it just works” is only a distant memory.

Plus the modern Apple ecosystem is just needlessly tying products together to make failures more costly. iPhone breaks and it also takes out your Apple Watch and Apple Card.
