Samsung did not provide information on the accuracy rate or speed of its Sensor OLED display, nor did it explain whether the authentication and biometric readings could be taken at the same time, but the company clearly has confidence that the technology is destined for smartphones in the near future.
Is it just me or does that not make sense? How can the reflected blood show the pressure? It would show a pulse rate yes. But how is the reflected light showing the pressure of the blood, if that’s the case any Apple Watch could do the same thing, and it can’t.
But...but...but, Apple has a yellow iPhone! 🤣
I mean, we all know Apple is working on blood pressure and blood sugar tech, but it never works out for Apple when they give us sneak peeks so when it is ready, they will show it off. They know their market. Sadly many iPhone buyers care more about the color than the display.

This will be on my 16 ProMax/Ultra @TheYayAreaLiving 🎗️ LOLWow! Game-changing feature! Pretty impressive. Samsung is the king when it comes to screen displays. Hands down 🙌🏻
Well Apple doesn’t make displays so I’m not sure what this has to do with them. 🤷♀️Lots of people on here will probably jump in and rubbish this. I think it's great! Even if it's not perfect yet, this sort of development stops Apple from getting complacent. Competition is good.

I agree. In fact I'd even go so far as to say that whrn Apple jump on this in the future the claim will be that they invented it.Lots of people on here will probably jump in and rubbish this. Probably the (iPhone) 18-20 series.
The only reason to "rubbish it" is because of the extreme high likelihood that neither headline features works well at all. I'd be happy to be proven wrong, but the odds of that are not good.Lots of people on here will probably jump in and rubbish this. I think it's great! If it gets rid of double clicking the side button (on Apple Watch or iPhone), then yes.TouchID in the display would be really cool on Apple Watch.
And emoji's. Don't forget the emoji's!

The principle isn’t new, devices measuring with this method have existed for some time. Just the integration into OLED is new."The Sensor OLED display can simultaneously sense the fingers of both hands, providing more accurate health information than existing wearable devices."
Samsung says the system works because OLED light is reflected differently depending on the contraction and relaxation of the blood vessels inside the finger, and when it returns to the panel, the OPD is able to recognize it and converts it into a blood pressure reading."
Wow, this is innovative and would be awesome if the accuracy can be guaranteed.
