A new highlight of this event is Samsung's 4TB Portable SSD T7 Shield for $349.99 ($115 off). Samsung is also discounting the 2TB model to $229.99 ($20 off), and both are great portable storage options for Mac computers, with an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance and read/write speeds of up to 1,050/1,000 MB/s.

Regarding TVs, there are quite a few models of The Frame TV on sale, including a new all-time low price on The Frame Pro models. You can get the 65-inch The Frame TV for $1,299.99 ($700 off), as well as The Frame Pro for $1,999.00 ($1,200 off).

Samsung's new Galaxy XR headset also has a few notable offers during this event, including up to $1,140 in savings with the Explorer Pack. This features various content at no extra cost with the purchase of the Galaxy XR, like one year of YouTube Premium, one year of Google AI Pro, and more.

For even more potential savings, eligible shoppers have the chance to get additional discounts through Samsung offer programs. These programs provide extra discounts for students, military, and employees of select businesses, and they provide up to 30 percent extra savings on Samsung's website, so be sure to check whether you're eligible for any of these programs.

I’ve seen some reviews of the Samsung frame on YouTube. That thing doesn’t look good at all. No idea why you decided to feature such a rubbish product here?

They don't get good reviews from reviewers, but they are pretty popular with consumers.

It's not rubbish, just not as highly rated as cheaper tv models.

If:
  1. I lived in the US
  2. Had the space
I’d be all over that 49” gaming monitor.

Oh.. and my wife was understanding!!

Those Samsung T9 SSD's aren't a great deal at those prices. It was regularly under $300 for the 4TB model in 2025, now it's on sale for $329.99? Good drives, but hard pass. I'd love to see an 8TB version of the drive down the road as prices come down.

Is it really that bad? i've always been interested in that TV. It looks pretty sweet and the standby screensaver looks sweet.

None of the Links work.

I own a Twin Cooling Plus, Samsung’s bottom of the line freezer-on-top refrigerator. I bought it without an ice maker, which is why I chose this model, and it has been problem free for four years. It has Shabbos lights and in my area (metro Chicago) it is sold with Shabbos lights enabled. Shabbos AKA Shabbat lights have a timer which disables them for part of the week so you won’t break sabbath by opening your refrigerator/freezer door and turning on the light. Not keeping Kosher, my first project was turning the lights on 24/7. Using Samsung’s manual this took me two days, and it became clear that the software and manual were written by engineers without any input from lesser mortals. My son is a mechanical engineer and I know whereof I speak. I will never again buy Samsung unless I am completely confident in my understanding of the technology.

Oh.. and my wife was understanding!!

I don’t live in the US, but I do have the space and back in 2020 I bought a 49" Samsung C49RG90. The first unit was defective and had to be returned, but the second one is the one I’m using right now, and I couldn’t recommend it enough. Heck, if I had a wife, it would probably convince her too 😁

Aside from being a bit less reliable, keep in mind that in 2020 these bad boys were even pricier, so today I’d jump on one of these deals without hesitation. The only downside is that once you turn it on, every other monitor will look tiny to your eyes.

Like others above are noting, I paid $285 for the T9 Portable SSD 4TB in July of 2024. Now the deal is $330. Glad I purchased it when I did.

These SSD prices are not sale prices. They are the same price they've been on amazon for months now. I've been tracking them for months to see if the price would go down but they've only gone up.

You should really remove the SSD HD's as sale items. It's completely disingenuous on Samsung's part.

I just want to say that I own a 4TB Samsung T7 Shield, and it has an issue where the writing speed drops to less than 1 Mbps. There are threads on Reddit about many users who experienced the same with little to no resolution and barely any support from Samsung. It's been very frustrating, and none of the reviewers mentioned this when I did my research before buying it. It's been a very disappointing purchase, far from the "it just works" experience we all seek.
I'm not saying it affects all units, so buy at your own peril.
I just wanted to post this since I would have appreciated reading about an experience like this before buying.

They're not really a great deal even at under $300, considering the Mac doesn't support those transfer speeds to begin with. You're better off getting the T7 model instead (or another brand, though I DO love the Samsung drives). Many of the reviews I read stated the actual transer speed with the T9 on the Mac is less than half what they claim.

To be clear, this is NOT a Samsung problem, it's Apple simply not supporting the required technology to take advantage of the speed. They may very well have a reason for not doing so, but that's not Samsung's fault.

Longer discussion on the previous Samsung sale thread.

I just opened up my 2024 Frame and tested it an hour ago. It blows the 2020 Frame we have away, and for someone who may be replacing a middle range or lower TV that is 5 years old or older, it will be a massive improvement.

Is it as good as a TV dedicated to HDR picture quality above all else? No. Is it a great picture most people would be happy with in a living room environment? Yes.

But here is the key: Art Mode is PHENOMENAL on this TV. The sample image truly looks like a lithograph. It doesn’t even seem backlit in any way. It looks like a 4k paper display. The older Frame doesn’t compare. It always looked like a TV image passing for a picture and while it still removes the “black hole” on the wall and has a passable anti-glare screen, the 2024 model is on a different level.

Is it a dedicated home theater TV? No. The top end LED-LCD models are superior.

Is it necessary for a bedroom, if you mostly watch at night and don’t need to disguise it during the day? No, OLED is particularly awesome for bedrooms.

But for a living room over a fireplace or a dining room or a room where what it looks like off matters as much as how it looks on, it’s tops.
