Sandisk Cruzer Micro wont Load!

I Just got my (First!) Mac, an iMac and to transfer my data between both computers i wanted to use my cruzer. I uninstalled U3 and for some reason when i plug it in to my iMac the LED in the drive just flashes 5 times and turns off! anyways to fix this? Thanks in advance

I'm not clear if you have one MAC or two. can the disk be read on another system? What system originally wrote the disk? It could be an unknown file system.
