Sandisk ixpand on new ipad air 2019

Hey guys
I wanna buy sandisk ixpand for my ipad air 3 2019 so have 2 questions

1 which model to but straight one or the curved one
2 is it useful i mean i saw some reviews some were good and other were bad

The curved one is designed more for phones. For iPad only I'd go with straight personally. I like mine OK, but since iOS/iPadOS will offer native support for all USB drives, if you can hold out for September, you might work better numbers by grabbing a lightning-to-USB converter, a generic USB drive.
