Rubbish website. Doesn't really tell the reader why they should switch to this rubbish player. I don't understand what's so good about it.
And also, making fun of the "i" in iPod is really pathetic. Apple has had "i" in its product names for ages, standing for "internet". Its just one of their "traditions". I really pity Sandisk for trying to do something as stupid as this. What's the point of becoming a Sandisk "rebel" when you don't exactly know what you're standing for?

I think possibly my favorite part of this website are thier ideas for what i should stand for. Hmm... isolation. And Im wondering how they managed to invent headphones that people can more easily hold a convorsation while wearing.

I didn't say I wanted one. :p

Particularly not after their marketing campaign that started this thread.

Oh, nothing intended, sorry. :)

Of all the players outside iPod, theirs is pretty nice, I have to admit.

There is non-sleazy advertising, and then there is sleazy advertising.

For example, Apple's iPod advertising merely show people dancing around with iPods, wheras SanDisk's advertising tells us we shouldn't buy the clearly better MP3 player, because everyone has one, and instead buy their crap product just for the sake of "being different" - without even suggesting that their product is actually better (which SanDisk doesn't even attempt to do). Pathetic.

Remember those Gateway Profile 4 vs Apple iMac G4 commercials?

Doesnt that remind everyone else of a certain mac v PC advertising campaign.:p

No, because the Mac ads do actually claim superiority and talk about features that are distinctive, rather than just knocking the competition.

e.g. it is a fact that the iMac ships in one box and is ready to use out of the box, which is different from the vast majority of PCs.
