sandy bridge or ivy bridge?

On MBA vs Dell: I have both, a 2010 MBA 13" and a Dell Latitude 4310 with i5. I do everything on the MBA except for Excel, and use the Dell for that in business. I love the MBA, but Dell offers good value, especially in their Latitude lineup.
