Sandy Bridge : What's the big deal ?

I have come across many references to SB in this sub-forum,
so what is the "big deal" about SB in the context of ultra-slim like the MBA ?😕

There isn't really.

SB is faster CPU than the Core 2, but the performance from the integrated graphics on the downclocked ULV CPU would likely be terrible compared to the 320M in the current machine.

Raw CPU power wise? One of the biggest leaps in chips probably.
Graphic wise? Blame intel for this one.

You get a ton of bang with little heat/power
